Why We (Actually) Need A Savior
Throughout this series, our aim is simple: to encourage careful, prayerful engagement with Scripture while testing everything against what YHVH has revealed. We are not asking anyone to set aside their understanding, but to simply place it where Scripture places it- useful, necessary, and a gift from God, yet never the final authority above His written word.
Our desire is not to tear down, but to build from the ground up, allowing Scripture to define its own terms and establish its own framework. That means being willing to let the text challenge our assumptions, correct long-held interpretations, and reshape how we understand difficult passages. Rather than forcing Scripture to fit human reasoning or inherited traditions, we want to let Scripture interpret Scripture.
We recognize that many of these subjects have been taught differently across denominations and traditions, leaving sincere believers with unanswered questions and unresolved tensions. Our hope is not to add another opinion to the conversation, but to slow down, examine the text carefully, and follow where it leads.
The prophet Hosea warned, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” We believe that warning still carries weight today. Many of the divisions and misunderstandings surrounding our faith can be traced back to missing foundational truths.
It is our prayer that this series helps restore some of those foundations, bringing clarity where there has been confusion and helps connect pieces that may have seemed unrelated before. Above all, our desire is to faithfully serve YHVH, bring His truth to light, and point others to a deeper understanding of His character and His plan of redemption. We pray this study strengthens your faith, deepens your love for His word, and ultimately brings glory to His Kingdom.
